Zesty Lime Fudge

We all love our traditional Christmas treats—such as the classic gingerbread, sugar cookie, or peppermint brittle.


But if these old traditions are giving you the bore, try stepping away to something more exciting—such as this citrusy, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth Lime Fudge.


Zesty Lime Fudge

1/3 cup Cream
1 cup of Sugar
1/3 cup of butter
1 tablespoon of honey
¼ cup of Lemon Lime Chocolate
( I just use regular white chocolate and add in extra lime zest )
zest of ½ a lime


Heat the cream carefully with the sugar. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves. Add the butter and honey while stirring.


Let the mixture boil , without the lid , until it reaches 116 degrees Celsius . Take the pot off the stove .  Add in the copped chocolates and the lime zest.  Whisk batter until thick and creamy.


Pour batter in a 12 by 12 cm pan, lined with parchment paper. Allow to cool. Cut the fudge into square pieces.
