We live in one of the most expensive cities in the world—and going out to eat has become horrendously expensive. With tax and tip – it’s no wonder why so many of us Vancouverites are living paycheque to paycheque. However, in this ritzy little city of ours, there are often times affordable restaruant deals. Take for example Hapa Izakaya—one of Vancouver’s favourite Japanese tapas restaurant that takes part in Hapa Hour—where many of their best menu items are on for about half the price.
It’s 32 degrees in Vancouver today. HOLY CRAP. And as much as I want to complain about it too – I just don’t think I have the right. Actually no Vancouverite has the right—and that’s because we spend all year complaining about the rain. So now that the sun is here—even at a brutal 32 degrees, we gotta love every ounce of it.
Who would’ve known—but The Charles Bar serves brunch, every Sunday too! Through word of mouth, we headed there this morning to check it out.
I’ve been experimenting a lot with different chia seed pudding combos lately. And I’ve found a lot that I’ve really liked: peaches and cream, peanut butter and banana, dark chocolate and cherry. But none that I’ve loved. Until now, with this Matcha Chia Pudding. Bold, flavourful and bursting with a ton of health benefits—this is the stuff you wanna wake up to.
