Whenever I step into a Menchie’s store my heart starts to beat a little faster, my senses are heightened and I feel my cheeks flushing out of excitement. I’m just as thrilled as my six-year-old self at a five-cent candy store.

Fairmont YVR, however, has revolutionized the way we perceive the airport experience, providing travellers and locals alike the opportunity to indulge in one of England’s most cherished traditions: High Tea.

Take for example Hapa Izakaya—one of Vancouver’s favourite Japanese tapas restaurant that takes part in Hapa Hour—where many of their best menu items are on for about half the price.
Who would’ve known—but The Charles Bar serves brunch, every Sunday too! Through word of mouth, we headed there this morning to check it out.
